The Stove House is a trading name of Stove Yard UK Limited based in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire which is part of The Stove Yard Group, Ireland's biggest stove dealers.
The Stove Yard was formed in 2004 when we initially started distributing the Olymberyl® range of cast iron wood burning and multi fuel stoves and boiler stoves in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The Olymberyl brand quickly established a reputation with Irish stove retailers for its superior build quality, exceptional reliability and all-round value for money – especially with the flagship boiler stove, the Aidan®, and the best-selling entry level Gabriel®.
In 2007, following market feedback, the same manufacturer introduced a classically simpler range of stoves under the Horse Flame® brand which has become equally successful and includes the ever-popular 5kW Artemis and the big Yarrman boiler stove. Later that same year The Stove Yard officially became the exclusive distributor for both brands in the UK as well as Ireland and we subsequently began to actively market these stoves in the UK mainland, originally direct to the public through The Stove House website, which you're now on.
In May 2008 we formed a joint venture company with Olymberyl to further develop their retail network and devise a product range focussed on the UK market as well as to explore the potential for their brands throughout Europe.
After a very successful year trading on the internet we created our UK mainland logistics centre in East Manchester where we typically house around 300 stoves at any one time. In September 2008 we opened our first Stove House retail showroom in the middle of Cheshire, just 5 minutes from junction 18 of the M6 motorway, at Holmes Chapel.
In January 2009 we were approached, and subsequently appointed exclusive UK and Irish distributors, by the prestige Danish designer classic stove brand Dan Skan, which are widely recognised as the greenest stoves on the planet.
Although devised as a means to develop the brand awareness of both Olymberyl and Horse Flame stoves in the UK, The Stove House internet retail operation, along with the Stove Yard showroom in Newtownards, County Down, has now become a successful business division in its own right.
The Stove House prides itself on providing high quality stoves at competitive prices, but without cutting corners on our high level of customer service and impartial advice. There are some stove brands that you just won't find on our website or in our showrooms because we simply do not believe that they meet our own expectations or the expectations of our customers beyond being attractively priced. There are others that simply do not represent good value for money.
The Stove Yard are members of the SIA (Stove Industry Alliance) whose mission is to promote the benefits and environmental advantages of stoves and includes many of the majors UK stove brands. We also actively support the aims and objectives of the Hetas approved installer scheme which promotes the safe and efficient installation of stoves.
